bed is a Tokyo-based band, consisting of une (vocals), Shinji (bass), Joneu (guitar), and Shun (drums). 

Formed in January 2022, they initially performed only in Tokyo venues and clubs. Their overpowering live presence spread by word-of-mouth, and they built a devoted fanbase seemingly overnight. In November of the same year, they held their first large-scale concert and party, SLEEPWELL, at www x in Shibuya, to a crowd over 500 strong, followed by a companion party at Cafe Noon in Osaka. Just a few months later, in February 2023, they launched bedroom, their own all night rave featuring bands and DJs from across the post-pandemic Tokyo underground scene, at Shibuya's Club Asia. Both events have been held multiple times since, each time with bed at the helm. In the summer of 2023, bed played at Fuji Rock, one of Asia's premier rock festivals. 

From the beginning, bed has largely organized and booked their shows on their own, building spaces and moments with people whose music they resonate with, and who resonate with theirs in turn. They have shared the stage with KUMO 99, highschool, fcukers, and ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U. Their live presence and their social media marketing channels their unique, refined aesthetic to revitalize the notion of a "rock band" itself.
