David Halim, Chika Olivia and Tjdika
Formed in Jakarta in late 2019, Littlefingers is an electronic jazz trio consisting of Chika Olivia (keys & synthesizers), Tjdika (bass), and David Halim (drums). The group emerged from a shared background in contemporary music education and professional session work, bringing together jazz fluency, electronic sensibility, and modern production aesthetics.
Their debut single, “Can Good Things Last Forever?” featuring Natania Karin, was released in 2020 and has since accumulated over one million streams across digital platforms. The track introduced their signature balance of melodic clarity, rhythmic subtlety, and textured arrangement; a direction that would continue to evolve across subsequent releases.
Individually, the members have been working with leading Indonesian artists including Hindia, Raisa, Lomba Sihir, Adrian Khalif, and Sal Priadi. Beyond performance, all three are active as producers and music practitioners, contributing to recording, arrangement, and audio production. This dual identity, both as performers and creators, shapes Littlefingers’ cohesive and detail-oriented sound.
Over the past six years, Littlefingers has released multiple singles, two EPs, and two full-length albums. Their work has received nominations across several AMI Awards categories, culminating in a 2025 win for Best Alternative Jazz Artist. Their growing listenership across Southeast Asia and East Asia reflects a steady expansion beyond their home base.
