Sparrow have performed at major Chinese music festivals including: Strawberry, Changsha Orange Isle, Zhangbei Grassland, Midi, Yangtze River, and Kunming 500 Miles. They have shared stage with internationally renowned post-rock bands: PG.LOST, This Will Destroy You, Moonlight Sailor, Maybeshewill, Dorena.

2012: Released album Rainbow Mountain and launched nationwide "Tour Project" series tour

2015: Released album The Spectator and initiated national tour

2015: The Spectator nominated for "Best Rock Album of the Year" and "Best Album Design" at China Rock Midi Awards

2016: Launched "Sparrow Gathering" series tour.

2016: Collaborated with renowned instrument brand Magic-bus to launch custom ukuleles.

2017: A pivotal year: They establishment Sparrow Music Studio in Beijing, released the single “Diamond Cut”, had collaborative release “Great Wild Goose” with Ma Di, the Taiwan edition of the album “Great Wild Goose” was released by Sony Music, “Lost” was globally distributed by Sony Music, 21-city national tour launched, post-rock compilation “Nine Ears Nine Branches” was globally released by Sony Music, the band hosted 1st Annual Sparrow Gathering Post-Rock Festival and Won LPA Indie "Live Performance of the Year" Award.

2018: Released concept album “Temple Rain Beads” (April), launched 21-city national tour covering all first-tier cities, headlined Strawberry Festival's historic post-rock stage -China's first dedicated post-rock festival platform, “Rainbow Mountain” featured in film “Where To Go” (Official OST), Multiple tracks including “Make It Brief” soundtracked Wang Luodan's documentary “Dan's Journey”, released single “Dream Pool” with avant-garde artist Pu Peng (cross-genre collaboration), premiered music video “Fleeting Dreams” (Cinematic 4K production), published tour documentary “Temple Rain Beads” (full-length concert film), "Acoustic Post-Rock" special tour [Something Different] in 3 cities.

2021: Released album "Child's Play" and launched national tour, "Hope Twinkles Like Starlight" awarded 2021 Care For Music Top 10 Singles, "Child's Play" awarded 2021 Care For Music Top 10 Albums.

2022: Released single "Certain Year", Sparrow delivered speech at "One Seat" talk, Collaborated with virtual artist Li Xinglan, becoming China's first band to cooperate with virtual human, launched [Hope·Starlight·Twinkle] national tour.

2023: Won 13th Midi Awards "Best Instrumental Music of the Year", released single "Trance" with FIRST Youth Film Festival via NetEase Cloud Music.

2024: Released limited edition Sparrow 16th Anniversary Vinyl Box Set, released concept album "Certain" and launched 40-city Asian tour celebrating 16th anniversary.

2025: Sparrow collaborated with Akira Yamaoka on EP "A Letter Buried in Time", premiered at Beijing Strawberry Festival.
